Privacy Policy — Aura AI

Plain language summary: We collect only what we need to run your account and deliver the service. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with anyone except the tools required to operate (Stripe for payments, Netlify for hosting, Calendly for booking). You can request deletion at any time.

2. What We Collect

We collect information in two ways: what you give us directly, and what's generated automatically when you use the service.

Information you provide:

Name, email address, and phone number when you fill out a form or book a call
Business name and appointment volume when you use the revenue calculator
Billing information (handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card number)

Information collected automatically:

Pages visited and time spent on site (via anonymized analytics)
Browser type and device type
IP address (used for fraud prevention, not stored long-term)

3. How We Use Your Information

To deliver and support the Aura AI service
To send onboarding communications, product updates, and billing notices
To respond to your questions or support requests
To follow up on sales inquiries you've initiated
To improve the product based on usage patterns

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data to third parties. Full stop.

4. Third-Party Services

We use a small set of trusted third-party tools to operate the service:

Stripe — payment processing. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Your card data is stored and processed entirely on Stripe's infrastructure. Stripe Privacy Policy

We do not use tracking pixels, ad networks, or behavioral profiling tools.

5. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you cancel, we retain records for up to 12 months for accounting and legal purposes, then delete them. You can request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 7).

6. Data Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Payment data is handled by Stripe and never touches our servers. Access to customer data is limited to Belmar Consulting staff directly involved in service delivery.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe your data has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@withaura.io.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Request a copy of the data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Opt out of marketing emails (every email includes an unsubscribe link)

8. Cookies

We use only functional cookies necessary to operate the site (session handling, form security). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not work correctly.

9. Children's Privacy

Aura AI is a B2B service intended for business owners and operators. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18.

10. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify active customers by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
